Frequently Asked Questions
Vacuum drying is ideal for thermosensitive materials because it lowers the boiling temperature of solvents. This allows for gentle, rapid, and efficient drying at lower temperatures, preserving the integrity, color, and properties of the final product.
The main advantage is operational efficiency and hygiene. Being able to completely extract the plate pack allows for loading/unloading and cleaning operations to be performed outside the chamber, in a dedicated area. This drastically reduces machine downtime between batches and minimizes the risk of cross-contamination.
With the C.I.P. MULTISPRAY® patented fast washing system, the drying chamber and inner plates can be washed and cleaned in just a few minutes, in a repeatable and certifiable way.
The C.I.P. MULTISPRAY® diffuser, equipped with washing nozzles capable of efficiently cleaning the walls and inner shelves, is quickly installed onto the dryer door. The nozzles are designed and developed by Italvacuum in materials compatible with the process. The mobile washing unit consists of a stainless steel tank complete with a PTFE membrane and pneumatic pump, which feeds the C.I.P. diffuser.
The mobile washing unit is equipped with antistatic polymer wheels, in compliance with ATEX directives and cGMP standards. The washing cycle is managed by a pneumatic control board situated on the mobile unit.
